"Ying Yang Parrots"
Hard edges have always inspired me and I like the colors that this one uses.

Yiting Cheng

I found this video, which shows Cheng's use of normal items, to hide valuables.  While I am not a fan of every item, there are a few cool ones in here.

I tried embedding the video, but it didn't seem to work so there is the link.

Just thought this was wild

I was on stumble upon and found this wedding invitation.  As I read this wedding invitation it seemed as though there's a possibility that the woman was a VCU student.  As I continued to read, the wedding itself took place back home right by my school in wilmington de.  Crazy.

Tom Otterness

I sure wish I had a playground like this when I was a kid.  Tom made many different figure statues, one of which sits back home at the Delaware Art Museum.  There is a really cool website all about him that you should check out.http://www.tomostudio.com/index.html

Why draw with pencils?

Jennifer Maestre's "Pelt"

Jennifer uses hundreds of Loew-Cornell colored pencils to create intriguing spikey looking forms.
I thought it was interesting to use materials in such an opposite manner.  She has many others wich all display a sense of movement.  enjoy.

A different way to use paper

Andreas Kocks- Paperwork
A very intriguing way of layering paper to create a relief.
