Black and White
Franz Kline
This piece intrigued me from a distance. From far away you could interpret many images from this painting. Kline was an expressionist painter from Pennsylvania and created many different pieces until his death in 1962. At a closer look you can see that this painting is layered with other strips of canvas/paper. I love when a piece is not what it seems, and this caught my attention in that way. |
